Queen Elizabeth Park in Vancouver, BC, Canada is a beautiful place for an engagement ceremony and celebration. The park has excellent natural colors and a large fountain along with a fancy restaurant. In tis example the gentleman hired me in advance and we planned the event at the park to have candid photos first and then staged portraits afterwards. So in the beginning the lady does not know that I am there taking photos with the telephoto lens at a distance as the gentleman goes forward with the surprise engagement proposal. The two photos below are from the staged portrait session after the engagement proposal ceremony where we walked around the park grounds to make use of the very nice backgrounds.
