The natural forests of British Columbia, Canada are a great place for traditional style portrait photography. I worked with Alex Wells to produce these amazing individual portraits during the warm Summer season. He is a world champion native hoop dancer who lives in the Sea To Sky Corridor. We did the photo shoot in the Callaghan Valley forest area during the afternoon when the sunlight is the strongest. The bright native colors and natural forest backgrounds worked well for the portrait photography. These amazing portrait photos are featured on many publications promoting native hoop dancing.
