Roller Derby is a popular indoor full contact skating sport in the Sea To Sky Corridor. This female athlete was looking for some fun Summer season portraits. We did the photo shoot at the Cheakamus Crossing area of Whistler, BC, Canada resort which worked out great with vibrant nature colors for the backgrounds. The usage of a large soft gold light reflector also helped to offset some of the shadows that were created by the strong Summer season sunlight. The natural grass of the park lawns make for very good portrait locations during the photo shoot. The roller derby portraits of this local athlete turned out well with a wide variety of styles.
