I was hired by the local newspaper and event production company to photograph the Burlesque event at Gay Whistler WinterPRIDE 2011. The event was held at the GLC which is located in the village at the base of Whistler mountain. It was a wild and crazy party night of lesbian burlesque entertainment. The indoor lighting was low and the smoke machine created an interesting effect during the burlesque and dance music performances. Everyone had a good time and this evening party event was one of the more interesting photojournalist assignments that I have had in Whistler resort over the years. The event was lots of fun and the photos were featured in the local magazine and also on the Gay Whistler event website.
